Yann Durieux, owner of the Domaine Recrue de Sens, in Villers-La-Faye, near Nuits-Saint-Georges, started his business in 2010, buying a 2.5 hectare vineyard parcel. The area is that of Burgundy, particularly in the borders of the Côte d’Or, where Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is its neighbor, in a less known area, however, that of the Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits. After traveling through Europe, Yann returns to his Burgundy starting to work for producers of the caliber of Julien Guillot and later from the more renowned Domaine Prieure Roch where, for 10 years, he becomes an expert in pinot noir, chardonnay and aligotè, but above all he begins his approach with local terroir, connecting intimately. Its wines are amazing for their purity, delicacy, freshness and elegance.
