Partida Creus

Bonastre

Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, in 2007, fed up with the chaotic life of the city, decide to migrate from Barcelona to Bonastre, a charming village in the region bordered by the Balearic Sea: Baix Penedès, near Tarragona. The intention was to devote themselves to a life in close contact with nature, producing their own food, but once they get to the “finca”, they notice an old vine, the Sumoll variety. From there they decide to cut down some almond trees to expand the vineyard. They do not come from a tradition of winemakers, but they begin to work the land, with dedication and expertise, learning from every mistake made. They have always tried to deal with the old winemakers of the area, to understand how to produce wine without synthetic products, just as they did in the past.
