Alex della Vecchia is the young founder of Ombretta Agricola. Formed by working experience with the great Ernesto Cattel di Costadilà, who together with Martina Celi continues to keep the vines and to produce those wines after Ernesto’s death in 2018, starting from 2017, he begins to vinify the grapes from his family’s vineyards in the Costadilà cellar. A sparkling white “colfondo” is produced with Verduzzo, a Pet Nat with flakes, and a still red wine, produced from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Alex acts with purely manual interventions, practicing viticulture that respects the territory and the environment.
