Anton Von Klopper is widely regarded as one of the leaders in the Australian natural wine movement. Originally from South Africa, it is based in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. After a 10-year career as a chef and sommelier for the Ritz Carlton Group, in 2002 he bought a small farm and cherry orchard, planting a small plot of vines and starting to produce his own wine. This is how Lucy Margaux Farm was born. Mass selections, free-footed vineyards and no irrigation, the same philosophy is strictly followed by the farmers from whom he buys the grapes.
