Anthony Tortul is the founder of the La Sorga winery, who after several trips to southern France, decides to set up his own business in 2008. Languedoc-Roussillon is the region where it is located, near the Pyrenees mountains. Anthony works as a “negociant”, buying grapes from 40 different sites and then vinifying them in his own cellar. A job where upstream there is an in-depth search for genuine grapes from small realities that is realized with small productions of sincere, immediate and straightforward wines, endowed with energy and freshness. Each year the production counts a number that is around 34 cuveè, each faithful representation of the parcel of origin. Real gem are the eccentric labels, which range from animal caricatures to photos of famous people such as Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris.
