La Bohême, Justine and Patrick Bouju’s domaine, is located in Auvergne and is spread over three different sites: Égliseneuve-près-Billom, Chauriat and Corent. In all it has 5 hectares of vineyard land, for the most part composed of old vineyards (the oldest of about 120 years), calcareous and volcanic soils, rich in basalt. The cultivated varieties are rare and little known. As if that were not enough, it also buys grapes from producers working in the south of France and each wine is vinified separately, with the aim of reflecting the characteristics of each crû of origin. In each of Patrick’s cuveè you can feel the authenticity, commitment and dedication that distinguish one of the best winemakers in Auvergne.
