The Domaine des Miquettes of Paul Estève and Chrystelle Vareille was born in 2003 in Cheminas, a small village located on the plateau above Tournon and Secheras, in the southern part of the Saint Joseph appellation. Paul and Chrystelle take over the farm from Paul’s family by transforming one of the small buildings into a wine making facility. In total, the domaine consists of five hectares. Several years ago, during a visit to Georgia, Paul and Chrystelle were struck by their culture. Since that day he has been producing wines aged in amphora and drinking Mezcal from the typical Georgian horn.
