Domaine des Fauvettes

Uchizy

Maryse started producing her own wine only in 2015, on a tiny plot near Uchizy in Mâconnais. After working for many years alongside her husband Alexandre Jouveaux, of Domaine Sauveterre, in 2012 Maryse settled in the woods outside the village where she plants a selection of old Pinot Noir cultivars.
The grapes are de-stemmed by hand, and then mature for twelve months in old barrels. Its almost reflexive, very original expressions materialize in a unique Pinot Noir.
