Mauro Vergano, a retired Piedmontese chemist and winemaker, began to produce bent in the 1970s. Hobby that materializes in 2003 in what today are the Vergano Chinates. Today the workshop is carried out by Tommaso and Pietro, the nephews. Their products are composed of 75% wine from organic grapes of Grignolino d’Asti, Cortese and Moscato and from fine herbs and spices, harvested following the right seasonality.
