SETE is a project launched by Arcangelo Galuppi and Emiliano Giorgi with the aim of recovering local varieties that were now falling into disuse. It all began in 2013, the location is Priverno, in Lazio.
At the beginning of their adventure they limit themselves to buying grapes from local farmers, trying to assimilate as much as possible from them, on agriculture to the “natural” and on the peculiarities of an almost forgotten territory. With the passing of the seasons, they begin to acquire the first plots, ending up creating a displaced mosaic, which is around one hectare. Obviously the work in the fields is reduced to a minimum, even in the cellar the fermentations are spontaneous and without any addition of sulfur.
SETE has the fixed objective of enhancing native vines through the recovery of local vineyards, such as Ottonese, Cesanese, Moscato Bianco, Bonamico and Malvasia Puntinata, producing a battery of wines with a marked aroma and rusticity, true and own expressions of the territory.
