With a background as a sommelier at Noma, Anders Frederik Steen began his winemaking business in 2013, in Valvignères in the Ardèche, starting to buy grapes from adjacent winemakers and producing wine under the supervision of the legendary Jean-Marc Brignot. He can almost be defined as a visionary: as he picks, he tastes the grapes and begins to imagine the type of wine he might be able to produce. Unusual approach, but the results speak for themselves. Each assembly is carried out during the harvest and the different varieties always ferment together, spontaneously, in the open.
