The Brasserie des Voirons is located in Lucinges, savoie, a few kilometers from the French of Mont Blanc. The terroir of this area enjoys springs of water naturally filtered by the glaciers of the Alps, with a perfect mineral balance for this style of beer. The approach of master Cristophe is almost wine-growing; spontaneous fermentations in open vats in the period between March and October, with subsequent decanting to fall and aging before resting in the bottle. On the one hand ripening in tonneaux of vignerons friends such as Clos Rougeard and Bruno Schueller, on the other magical infusions of orange blossom, almonds or citrus fruits in amphora. All on a Lug Blonde or Blanche base, with a dry taste. The final products are similar to the Gueuze style: common thread of freshness, character, medium alcoholity and incredible ease of drinking.
