Olivier Cousin

Martigné Briand

In the Loire Valley, in the village of Martigne-Briand, is olivier cousin’s domaine. In 1987 he took over his grandfather’s possessions, starting to produce his own wine. He works as naturally as possible, even limiting the use of electricity in the cellar. In addition to its huge connection to the land, it also has equally strong connection with the sea since, like a real ‘sailor’, he crossed the Atlantic on several occasions to deliver his wine. Olivier, now retired, works only with Cabernet Franc, a grape he masterfully manipulates, in fact his Pur Breton is truly formidable.
